My platform “Sunshine After Rain” invites all, including those struggling with economic difficulty, domestic violence, or what might appear as lack of opportunity, to dig in deep and find what we each have to offer and share it!

  My mission is 3-fold:

To STRENGTHEN WOMEN through their own self discovery;

PROTECT, NURTURE and EMPOWER CHILDREN; and

DEVELOP THE COMMUNITIES in which we live.

  For women I will continue to work with programs such as the Women and Children’s Alliance that aid in cases of domestic violence along with organizing women’s conferences to educate those overcoming abuse, lack of education or opportunity and find strength in our commonality. I want to help women find their own beauty and to know that as mothers we make history.

  As the world experiences increased change and insecurity there has never been a greater demand for quality, loving and safe childcare and education where the next generation can learn to believe in themselves and what they can become. Developing the minds of children and allowing them to discover their creativity allows them to be able to contribute in a way completely unique to them. I will work to promote these values, not only in my own community, but with state wide organizations (such as Idaho Stars) that help to regulate the standards for childcare. On a broader scale, in our communities with the economic challenges we face I will focus on two items: First we will continue to offer scholarships to families in need and secondly I will work with Chambers of Commerce and similar groups that encourage small business development and support of the local merchants. Working together from home we will become stronger.
